What about your neck!

February 24, 2010

It is often said the neck can give away a person’s age and is especially susceptible to the ravages of ageing and sun exposure. We often take the time daily to spend on keeping our face moisturised and apply sunscreen, but forget about our necks.

There are surgical options such as Liposuction or neck lifts which are effective for neck contouring, if you are not ready for the scalpel or more invasive treatments there are non-surgical options that achieve great results, such as Ultherapy ® which uses ultrasound to deposit focused energy to stimulate the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin in the deep tissue layers. Consequently, skin will begin to firm, lift and tighten over time. This procedure does not use scalpels, needles or toxins, therefore there is no disruption to the skin and no downtime or NeckTite™ which is a minimally invasive non-excisional Radio Frequency Assisted Liposuction (RFAL™) fat removal and skin tightening procedure. The NeckTite procedure is when radio frequency energy and aspiration are applied concurrently, resulting in gentle fat removal, tissue shrinkage and contouring.

Other treatments include Fractional Resurfacing and Lipodissolve or non-surgical medical treatments that can be tailored to your individual needs. For skin rejuvenation we offer Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photorejuvenation; PRP  and chemical peels to assist with freshening up the look of the skin on your neck and chest.

Cosmetic Image Clinics offer all these treatments and another exciting treatment that we will be offering in the future is the revolutionary CoolSculpting® chin applicator technology which will use controlled cooling to freeze and eliminate unwanted fat cells without surgery or downtime.

So don’t neglect your neck, if surgery is too scary to fix that saggy neck skin or you want to freshen up your ageing neck non-surgically we can offer an array of treatments, contact us today.

First time anti-wrinkle treatment

February 15, 2010

We have recently treated a client who has told us that he had finally plucked up the courage to try the anti-wrinkle treatment and he had thought about it for a year or so.  After the treatment had taken effect which can be up to 2 weeks, he was thrilled at how easy it was to soften the crows feet, and lose the grumpy scowl.

It is common for clients to consider treatments for some time and then once they feel they have done their homework and perhaps even discussed the treatment with a friend, who probably has already had it,  they decide to go ahead and have a try and are really happy with the result and ease of the whole procedure.
